There she meets Dan Albert, successful son of immigrants, who treats her to a paella that has been simmering for over one hundred years.

We screened Dan Albert’s Paella as part of Hispanic Heritage Week at SHSU, and it led to a rich discussion about immigration, assimilation, and the diversity of Spanish-speaking peoples in the United States.
